In a little cave hidden behind a moss-covered stone is a tiny workshop. This is the home and workshop of Ulmus Bracken, the Wandsmith. Ulmus is a quiet and practical fairy. He is sometimes blunt, but always well-meaning.

The other Fairies of the woods come to Ulmus for help with their practical problems. Although he will grumble at being disturbed, secretly Ulmus enjoys helping people with their problems.
